About Born Again Baking
Our Philosophy
At Born Again Baking, we believe that everything we do should bring glory to God through Jesus. We strive to use the best quality ingredients, choosing to source local, seasonal, whole food, and Non-GMO ingredients as we are able. We do not use artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives because we believe that everybody deserves to enjoy healthy, real food. We try to use our blessings to give back in the form of donations, and serving in our church. We pray that our baked goods will bring some extra love to your day!
Our Heritage
As a baker, I am inspired by my love for Jesus, as well as the many family members, teachers, and friends who have encouraged my gifts. My passion for feeding people began as a child when I would help my mom make treats for VBS, church events, girl scouts, and family parties. My mom is also a food science and nutrition teacher, giving me the opportunity to learn lots, and even assist in her cooking classes. My grandmother also instilled in me a love for feeding people with her delicious sicilian recipes including an original family recipe for pizzelle cookies preserved over 3 generations. Now I have been blessed with an amazing husband who has introduced me to his cultural Mennonite baking traditions. Baking is an act of love in our family!
